Medical Department at Lehigh County Prison, PA Recognized as National Facility of the Year

July 13, 2011 – Allentown, PA

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. (PCM) based out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, is proud to announce that the Lehigh County Department of Corrections has been named as the Facility of the Year for 2011 by the National Commission on Correctional Health Care’s Accreditation Committee!!!

This prestigious award is presented each year to only one facility or corrections system from among the 500+ jails, prisons, and juvenile detention facilities that participate in the N.C.C.H.C.’s nationwide accreditation program.

Numerous PCM facilities have been nominated for this award several times in years past at York County Prison (PA), Pike County Correctional Facility (PA) and Donald R. Kuhn Juvenile Complex (WV); however, this is the first PCM sites that has received this award. PCM could not have achieved this award without the hard work and dedication from its staff that provide the medical care at Lehigh County Prison and without the continual support of the Facility’s Administration and corrections staff. Congratulations to all that contributed in making this celebrated award obtainable.
